If you claim Child Benefit you must check if you can get part of the Government’s £4 billion funding that is available now to upgrade the least efficient homes in the UK.
This very generous grant scheme called the Energy Company Obligation started in 2022, and it obligates energy companies to provide grants to improve the energy performance rating of UK homes while also tackling fuel poverty. If you claim Child Benefit you could qualify for these grants.
The grants are available now and are expected to run until 2026 (or earlier if energy companies reach their obligation sooner).
